A middle-aged man and a husband was Sunday night hacked to death by his 17-year-old stepson after having continuous disputes with his stepsons' mother in Mikindani, Mombasa County.
As reported by the Police, the boy who is a student at Kajembe High school took two kitchen knives from their house that used to kill his step-father by piercing him severally on the stomach, chest and face and later escaped to an unknown destination.
The husband then was taken to Mikindani medical centre where he was pronounced dead on arrival. The incident was notified to the police by the boy’s mother.
“Efforts to trace the suspect are underway,” reads the police report.
The body of the deceased was moved to the Coast General Hospital.
