Dr Mukhisa Kituyi alleged girlfriend Diana Opemi Lutta purportedly attempts suicide and rescued by her friends.
Reports indicate that Diana Opemi started by deleting all photos of her social media and other online galleries.
Due to an alleged depression after leaking a viral video of the EX-UN boss, she tried taking her life by jumping from a three-floored rooftop building in Mombasa.
Diana Opemi Lutta who filed a grievance in Occurrence Book (OB) at the Nyali police station in Mombasa County on May 22, 2021, arguing that the former United Nations Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD) Secretary-General assaulted her while at the hotel.
Under OB Number 10/22/05/2021, Ms Diana Lutta claimed that the former Trade minister in the first government of retired President Mwai Kibaki ambushed her while demanding to sleep with him forcefully in the hotel.
"Assault report to the station by one Diana Opemi Lutta (who) has presented a report today the 22nd day of May 2021, at around 0200 hours. She has been assailed by a person known to her within Tamarind Village, namely Mukhisa Kituyi whom she claims to be her boyfriend," stated the recorded statement.
