Jackline Wairimu Nyokabi, 26, died on Sunday morning following a deadly road accident that happened after she wrestled with the driver in Laikipia.
The mother of one who was seated on the co-driver’s seat alleged to have disagreed with the driver recognized as Mohamud Mwanzo, 25, and she began struggling with the steering.
“On reaching the location of the accident, a disagreement arose between the driver and the lady held onto the steering and struggled with the driver. As a result, the vehicle lost control and landed on its left side off the right side of the road,” a police report stated.
Due to the effect, Nyokabi died on the spot while the driver and another passenger Charity Mwangi, 21, escaped unhurt.
According to the Police officers manning the area said the car was heading towards Laikipia from Nyeri.
The vehicle was hauled and confined at the station yard pending inspection.
The deceased body was taken to Nanyuko Teaching and Referral Hospital mortuary awaiting Postmortem.
