A middle-aged woman identified as Monica from Mukuru Kwa Njenga slums was reportedly shot six times on the head by her boyfriend and died on Wednesday.
Her boyfriend got angry after he found a text message in her phone saying “hey beb” compelling him to fire numerous bullets at her.
Police officers have launched an intensive manhunt for the late Monica’s boyfriend who is also speculated to be one of the deadly criminals within Mukuru Kwa Njenga.
According to her friend, she explained how Monica " the actress" was before her demise.
“Her name was Monica😒😥 or rather Monnie ukipenda, she was jovial, friendly and social. Ni Dem alipenda sana Mtaa yake Mukuru Kwa Njenga, She was an actress very beautiful out and inside her soul too but today we remain with nothing but memories of how she was.
"Many who connected or came across her, we/her friends too remain in sorrow and sad tears for losing such a young Soul murdered by her hubby, a bullet of no reason to release it from its chamber to murder her for the name of so-called #Love . Will justice be served for our beloved #Monnie….?😒😥 Will whoever did this be found and brought to Justice…?" the friend added.
