Cameroon vs Burkina Faso at Olembe Stadium, Yaoundé begins on 9 January 2022. The match will be live on K24 TV, GOTV and DSTV.

The 2021 Africa Cup of Nations begins in Cameroon on January 9 pandemic delay.

Burkina Faso has made 12 appearances at the AFCON since their debut appearance in 1978. The last appearance was in 2013.

Bertrand Traore, Edmond Tapsoba and Issa Kabore are players to watch. They will face Cameroon before Cape Verde and Ethiopia.

Ethiopia

Ethiopia won the Africa Cup of Nations in 1962, defeating Egypt to the title in their home country.

They had 11 appearances. The Walia Ibex men are back since 2013.

Getaneh Kebede captains' the squad in Cameroon under head coach Wubetu Abate. Ethiopia will face Cape Verde and Burkina Faso.

Cape Verde

The contest in Cameroon will be Cape Verde’s third impression at the Africa Cup of Nations, having experienced in the 2013 and 2015 editions.

Head coach Pedro Leitao Brito prays that his team get back to their best. The Blue Sharks will face Ethiopia, Burkina Faso and Cameroon.
