GOTV EPL: GOtv premier league matches fixture this weekend 16th April 2022

 

This weekend in the English Premier League, there are six games scheduled, including a match between Southampton and Arsenal.

The game will be held at St Mary's Stadium, with the hosts in 14th place with 36 points and the visitors in fifth place with 54 points.

Southampton is coming off a 6-0 home loss to Chelsea last weekend, which was a tremendous disappointment for the club. The Saints were 4-0 down at halftime, and things didn't get any better in the second half, as they allowed two more goals.

Arsenal travel to St Mary's Stadium after suffering a setback in their drive to finish in the top four this season last weekend.

Arsenal fell 2-1 at home to Brighton, putting them three points behind Tottenham Hotspur, although they do have a game in hand.

 

Arsenal lost 3-0 at Crystal Palace before losing at home to Brighton, and a repeat performance in this game would put them out of contention for the top four.

Arsenal has won five of their past six Premier League matches on the road. Leeds United, Norwich City, Wolverhampton Wanderers, Watford, and Aston Villa were all defeated.

Arsenal has gone unbeaten in 21 of their previous 24 Premier League games against Southampton, and has scored 1 or more goals in each of their last 11 meetings with the Saints.
