K24 La Liga match live tomorrow 2/04/2022

Big games this weekend as the season coming to an end. Teams play to qualify for Europe competitions while others play to avoid relegation.

When Real Madrid takes on Celta Vigo at Abanca-Balados on Saturday evening, they will be seeking to keep their La Liga title hopes alive.

With nine games remaining in the season, Los Blancos are nine points ahead of Sevilla in second place.

Carlo Ancelotti's squad leads third-placed Barcelona by 12 points. Celta is currently in tenth position, 12 points outside of the European places and 30 points behind Real Madrid.

Celta has won just nine of their 29 La Liga games this season, which means only seven teams in the competition have won fewer games.

They had only one win in their last six games in all competitions, except a 4-3 victory over Mallorca in March.

Real Madrid has only lost three of its 29 La Liga games this season, with 20 victories and six draws.

Los Blancos are not only the division's leading scorers (59), but they also have the second-best defensive record (25).

Ancelotti's side had been on a four-game winning streak before they were thrashed 4-0 by Clasico rivals Barcelona shortly before the international break.

Real Madrid, on the other hand, will be optimistic about resuming their winning ways this weekend after losing only two of their previous 21 league games.

Real Madrid has won each of their past three La Liga meetings with Celta Vigo, including a 5-2 triumph in the reverse encounter in September.
