Cate Waruguru, a woman representative from Laikipia, appears to be the latest casualty, having lost the United Democratic Alliance (UDA) primaries in the Laikipia East seat.

Waruguru, who received 5,595 votes and was vying for the UDA ticket, was defeated by Laikipia East MP Amin Deddy, who looked to have more than doubled Waruguru's vote total with 12,723.

Taking to social media, Cate stated that regardless of what happens, she remains a strong believer in the hustler nation.
