Diamond Platnumz ft Zuchu Mtasubiri song banned by Tanzania Government

The Tanzania Communication Regulatory Authority (TCRA) has prohibited the broadcast of Diamond Platnumz's 'Mtusubiri' music video, which features his top prospect Zuchu.

TCRA (a government agency) stated in a statement to news outlets that they had received advice from BASATA (Baraza la Sanaa Tanzania) to prevent Chibu Dangote's film from being broadcast on national media.

After received Diamond's phone call, Zuchu is seen getting hitched from Church where she is a choir member in the music video produced by Director Ivan. The WCB director is in hot water with TRCA because of a 26-second segment that served as the video's opener.

The authorities went on to say that the opening sequence has made Christians uncomfortable because they feel insulted.

If the musician wants the video to be shown on mainstream media again, he must re-edit it.

On March 30, Diamond launched the Mtasubiri music video, in which Zuchu was shown cuddling her boss, prompting speculation that it was a validation of their love affair.
