During their weigh-in, the exciting boxer promised to knock out Uganda's Kenneth Lukyamuzi and take the vacant Pugilistic Syndicate of Tanzania (PST) light-heavyweight title.

In an interview to bid for the fight, Karim Mandonga, who was in Kenya in January this year and defeated Kenyan boxer Daniel Wanyonyi, now has a match against Ugandan boxer Kenneth Lukyamuzi.

Mandonga confirmed his pre-fight antics by knocking out his opponent, Wanyonyi, at the KICC in Nairobi in January this year.

The match attracted a large crowd of people due to Mandonga's antics, and in fact, those who attended did not miss the entertainment they expected.

The two pushed each other until the fifth round, where "Mtu Kazi" continued the attack and made Wanyonyi fight back for the sixth round, with the victory being given to Mandonga.

"Ile ngumi ya mlunga mbunga nililotangaza inamhusu huyu. Yaani kipigo na hatoboi huyu. Ajae akijua. Wewe type yako ni kupigana na Wanyonyi. Muje muone adhabu anaopatana nayo huyu," Mandonga said in his now trademark media rant.
