Lawyer Donald Kipkorir Mourns Death Of His Mother. He is saddened by the unfortunate passing of his mother, Katarina.
In an emotional post, Kipkorir confirmed the passing of her mother, hinting that she died on Saturday following a battle with cancer.
“With courage, fidelity to God, and stoicism, my mother faced her terrible illness. Despite her excruciating anguish, she never once sobbed.
“I am grateful to God for granting me her. She finds tranquilly in the sky,” he wrote.
The attorney also sent a poem by English poet Samuel Taylor Coleridge that was dedicated to her late mother. It goes as follows:
A Poem for Mom
Unfulfilled, gloomy, and depressing sorrow,
a muted, sleepy, emotionless sadness,
which has no natural exit and receives no relief
In speech, sigh, or tear.”
The lawyer had said on May 19 that he was taking her mother to India for better medical care.
“I’m travelling to India with my mother. The only commandment that guarantees blessings is the one requiring us to respect our parents,” he said on Twitter.
“My cherished mother, Katarina, has gone through such suffering. I’m hoping that my mother may get relief and healing from the top oncologists in India. Hopefully, the sky will hear us.”
