Brenda Otieno on Adhiambo song on Bahati

Brenda Otieno is asking for payment for her part in the song, and Prince Indah, who worked with Bahati on the blockbuster song “Adhiambo,” has volunteered to compensate her.

Prince Indah said during a joint appearance on Plug TV and 2Mbili TV on YouTube that Brenda could simply be trying to gain influence since, from what he understood, she was paid.

“I think ni kiki na kama si kiki akuje tu aseme what is so special about her kuliko hao watu wengine wenye hawaongei. I think alilipwa, to my understanding, is alilipwa,” he said.

The Benga artist insisted that Brenda benefited more from the song, saying that if it weren’t for “Adhiambo,” nobody would be talking about her.

“Haingekua kitu angekua anaongelelea, hakuna hio video hakuna mtu angemjua. Therefore, hio pia imemusaidia much,” he remarked.

In addition, Prince Indah said that if Brenda can demonstrate to him how her contributions to “Adhiambo” helped it become popular, he would be prepared to personally pay her the Ksh4 million in damages she is requesting from Bahati.

“Aseme tu kenye ilikua has something special about her, and then atalipwa, ata mimi naweza mlipa,” said Prince Indah.

You could also say, “Bora tu aseme kenye alifanya so special kuliko hao watu wote.”

Brenda revealed her legal action against Bahati to YouTuber Nicholas Kioko, indicating that she was seeking 20% of the profits made by “Adhiambo.”

Brenda Beatrice Otieno is speaking to you, “Dear Bahati. I want payment from you for using me as a vixen in your song. And I want payment of 20% of all profits generated by the song “Adhiambo”; if not, the video will be taken off. I don’t want to be associated with the video in any way.

“And I seek payment as payment for the one and a half years that the video has been online. If you want to take it down, I expect payment for the time the video has been up. And the remuneration is still 20% of the revenue the video generated,” she said.

Brenda also said that she was asking for 20% since Bahati treated her disrespectfully. “20% because he treated me disrespectfully. He’s never tried to get in touch with me,” she said.

The seductive video vixen said, “Bahati was originally supposed to pay her Ksh100,000, but since he took her for granted, she wants 20% of the revenue that comes from ‘Adhiambo,” which, in her estimation, is Ksh4 million.”

“In 2021, when I was still a college student and a little, innocent girl, I was to be paid less than $100,000 on that day. However, interest is now at an all-time high. He has taken me for granted; therefore, that is why I am asking for 20%,” Brenda stated.

“I want Ksh4 million from that video; please pay me. Is it not fair that I get Ksh4 million from a video with over 24 million views?” she concluded.
