Vincent Mwasia Mutua, often known as Chipukeezy, a well-known comedian, has been hospitalised at Nairobi West Hospital due to an unexplained ailment.

Dennis Itumbi, a digital strategist and State House strategist, made the statement after visiting the comic in the hospital.

Chipukeezy was brought into the hospital on July 25 at about 3:00 p.m., according to Itumbi. He continued by saying that he has been remarkably recovering.

At approximately 3 p.m. yesterday, Chipukeezy was hospitalised. As I’ve already stated, the improvement is outstanding and superb. Itumbi praised the work of the medical staff and the facility at the Nairobi West facility.

Itumbi, a trusted confidante, revealed that the two had been friends for a long time and had helped each other out in many charitable and social endeavours.

“Chipukeezy has been a buddy of mine ever since he began his comedic career. I was invited to his school project by him. There, we’ve held harambees, and we constructed the school together. Beyond that, we also operate an organisation for the political participation of young people, ” he continued.

Eddie Butita, a well-known comedian and screenwriter, also paid a visit to Chipukeezy in the hospital, according to Itumbi.

“We were with Eddie Butita here the previous day, and I’m sure now that the news is going out, a lot of people will be coming here, and we’ll keep you updated,” Itumbi added.

Presently, Chipukeezy is commemorating 10 years in the Kenyan comedy scene. The small comic has planned a sizable stand-up performance called “10 Toes Down” at the MKU theatre in Thika to commemorate the occasion.

Charlene Ruto, daughter of President William Ruto, is one of his ardent admirers and among his closest friends. Charlene has also taken to the internet to promote the show and encourage viewers to go.
