Following the death of her spouse in 2020, Pastor Ruth Matete is currently dating. The vocal coach and singer acknowledged that she was deeply in passionate love with a different person but refuted rumours that she was seeing Mzungu Mwitu.
In an interview with Mzungu Mwitu, the former Tusker Project Fame vocalist made this statement.
“Guys, I’m not dating you (Reverend Dad), and I’m not pregnant. I’m dating someone else. Oh my God, but I can’t claim I’m not dating because I am,” she responded.
Adding; “I like a particular individual, and we have conversations about each other. While drinking coffee, we often text each other in the morning. Good evening, and how was your day?”
John Apewajoye, a pastor, was Matete’s husband. While she was delivering their daughter, Toluwa Apewajoye, in 2020, he passed away.
Matete declared in August of last year that she was prepared to start a family with a responsible guy and that she wouldn’t spend time with younger men. She continued by saying that she was prepared to walk down the path again.
“In three years, I will be 40 years old.” Wueh!! Na bado nataka nipatie Tolu brother na sister. Someone needs to find me. We do this thing tumalize.”
“Ama kuna a medical procedure to help me get twins? I would like to finish that chapter by 40. I am watching a lot of movies. Meet. Fall in love. Date. Engagement. Wedding. Pregnant. Babie,”she wrote.
