A Boda Boda rider in Bomet Town fled after hundreds of bees attacked a bike he was parking at a petrol station shortly after he excused himself to dine at one of the eateries next to the fuel station.
Bomet central sub-county police chief Musa Omar said that as the rider emerged from the hotel, he saw his bike swarmed by interested bystanders who were excitedly snapping pictures and videos.
According to Mr. Omar, the motorcycle rider may have felt danger and chosen to vanish into thin air, causing the proprietor of the gas station to call the police, who arrived and dispersed the mob that was impeding economic activity in the area.
“The flies were not dangerous. The Boda Boda was placed inside our car by our police, who then drove it to the station. After a while, the bees vanished,” continued Omar.
He continued by saying that an inquiry has been launched to determine the proprietor’s identity.
According to sources privy with his moves, the man has been having an affair with his Neighbour’s wife. The husband called and warned him for his actions but the bodaboda man did not subscribe to the calls calling it threats.
