A Mombasa lady who was reportedly battered by her husband for preventing him from peeing on their mattress ended up with severe wounds.
On Monday, July 31, 2023, 24-year-old Georgina Chao alleges that her husband, Boniface Chacha, attacked her for trying to stop him from peeing on the bed where their 1-year-old child was lying.
“On Monday at midnight, he returned home and told me to feed him, which I did. He went to bed a little while later. However, Chao claimed, “He woke up and started peeing on our bed, where our infant was resting.
“He became enraged and started pounding me. I called for assistance, but no one came to my aid,” the woman said.
After the thorough and deadly beating, Chao said that her husband raped her for many hours while she was incapacitated.
“He began to rape me for a few hours after beating me until I passed out. When I came to, I was unclothed and holding my sobbing infant next to me as my husband sighed loudly,” Chao recalled.
Although the incident was made known to the police under OB number 05/3/07/23, the suspect has not yet been taken into custody since Chao was unable to acquire the necessary funds to complete the P3 form.
“In assault cases, one is required to pay Ksh1,500 to fill in the P3 form, which I have been unable to raise.”
Currently, Chao is living with a well-wisher who retrieved her from downtown after the person in question threw her out.
