‘Mimba iliingia May 27 at 1 pm, do the math’ says Coast musician Nyota Ndogo over concerns about her pregnancy.
Nyota Ndogo, a musician from the Coast, felt compelled to discuss her pregnancy after learning that her due date had passed.
The expectant artist responded to doubts and conjecture over her pregnancy by posting a message on social media.
Angry that others are pressuring her to give birth too soon, the 43-year-old mother of two maintained that she was not ready to give birth to her third kid.
After revealing that she became pregnant on May 27, 2023, at 1 pm, Nyota Ndogo urged those who were sceptical to use their calculators to find out when she would give birth.
“Sijui tuliachilie ama tusubiri tuzae.alafu mnaniarakisha kuzaa jamani.mimba iliingia may tarehe 27 saa saba usiku. Hesabuni,” Nyota Ndogo said.
The sixty-year-old Danish spouse of the quadragonarian, Henning Nielsen, is the father of her third kid.
Without disclosing her pregnancy, Nyota Ndogo shared a picture of herself with her growing baby bulge on social media on September 5, 2023.
Later, she acknowledged that she was expecting, but she issued a warning, stating that her husband, a Caucasian, had forbidden her from discussing her pregnancy with the public.
The singer said that her spouse only permits her to speak to the media regarding her musical profession.

She responded to opponents who were criticising her for becoming pregnant “in old age” in another post from last year.
“Wenye kusema mimi nimzee sifai kuzaa siku yakujifungua njooni musukume nyinyi maana nyie ndio mna nguvu zakusukuma. Kwanza mimi am only 42 bado mchanga sana. Happy birthday to me, oh sorry congratulations to me,” she wrote.
On January 3, 2024, Nyota Ndogo celebrated turning 43. On January 27, 2024, her spouse will be 61.
