Arsenal vs Newcastle match live

On Saturday night, the focus will be on the Emirates Stadium as Newcastle United travels to the capital to take on title-chasing Arsenal, who are looking for a sixth consecutive league win.

As a result of their game in hand, the Gunners are in third place, five points behind Liverpool, while Mikel Arteta's Newcastle are in ninth place, 18 points behind.

Galeno scored the game-winning goal for Porto in the 94th minute of Saturday's UEFA Champions League match, resulting in a 1-0 loss for Arsenal.

But in their previous five Premier League matches, Arsenal have won every one while scoring 21 goals (or 4.2 goals per game) and allowing just three goals.

Last Saturday, Arteta's squad thrashed Burnley 5-0 after a 3-0 victory against Liverpool at the start of February. They then proceeded to destroy West Ham United 6-0.

From a broader perspective, Arsenal has only lost four of its twenty-five league contests so far this season, while Newcastle has lost ten.

In regards to Newcastle, their most recent game ended in a 2-2 draw with Bournemouth, a result that Matt Ritchie helped his team recover from after falling behind by two goals in the 92nd minute.

The Magpies' undefeated streak in the league reached four matches with a draw. Since their previous setback, they have won twice and drawn twice.

However, in their last eleven Premier League matches, Eddie Howe's squad has only won three times, losing six.

In Newcastle's last seven league games, not only have both sides scored, but each of those matches has also included more than three and a half goals.

In their November meeting, Newcastle prevailed by a score of 1-0, although Arsenal had won eight of their last eleven Premier League encounters against Newcastle.

It should be mentioned that Arsenal have not lost a single home game against Newcastle in 12 matches, and they have also kept a total of eight clean sheets in that time.

Injuries to Oleksandr Zinchenko and Jurrien Timber have sidelined Arsenal's chances of winning Saturday's match. Gabriel Jesus, Thomas Partey, and Takehiro Tomiyasu are all questionable.

Among Newcastle's injured players are Elliot Anderson, Matt Targett, Joelinton, Nick Pope, and Sandro Tonali; Alexander Isak's status is uncertain.

It seems like Saturday's match will be a high-scoring affair, with both teams scoring goals, based on previous patterns.
