Namibia President dies after a long time illness. Before his death, Naimibia President Dr Hage G. Geingob had been in politics for a long time. Since March 21, 2015, Hage Gottfried Geingob has held the office of the third president of Namibia.

"As I just told the country, yesterday, his medical staff has been working nonstop to make sure our president gets well. Unfortunately, despite the team's heroic efforts to preserve his life, President Geingob regrettably passed away."
