Multichoice's DSTV and GoTV

Kenyans who are interested in streaming services provided by Multichoice's DSTV and GoTV will be required to make significant financial investments in order to get access to these services.

The corporation made the announcement that it has changed the cost of its packages for both Gotv and DSTV, and this is subsequent to that announcement.

The new pricing, which is scheduled to go into effect on April 1st, was communicated to the company's consumers via a statement that was issued on March 20th.

Lite will now cost Sh700, Access will continue to cost Sh1,300, Family will cost Sh2,000, Compact will cost Sh3,700, Compact Plus will cost Sh6,500, Premium will cost Sh10,500, and XtraView will cost Sh1,500 per month. These are the new costs for DSTV content streaming.

This is a price hike of fifty shillings for users of the Lite service, one hundred fifty shillings for subscribers of the Family service, two hundred shillings for users of the Compact service, three hundred shillings for subscribers of the Compact Plus service, and six hundred shillings for Premium subscribers.

The pricing for GoTV has been adjusted to reflect the following: Lite Sh220, Value Sh669, Plus (which has not changed) Sh999, Max Sh1499, Supa Sh1999, and Supa Plus Sh3700, which are charged on a monthly basis.

This is a hike from the current prices of Sh199, Sh649, Sh1449, and Sh1899, Sh3500 for Lite, Value, Max, Supa, and Supa Plus customers, respectively.

According to the announcement released by the firm, the increased costs are a consequence of the "economic outlook," and they recognised that they made an effort to keep the rise as low as feasible.

Both GOtv and DSTV provide a diverse selection of programming for their viewers, which includes a variety of categories such as news, sports, entertainment, and audio material.

Customers of DStv now have access to more than 165 channels, thanks to the different packages that are available.
