Collins Kipkorir

A blogger identified as Collins Kipkorir reportedly disappeared and was subsequently discovered dead. His family is now asking for donations to help pay for his funeral.

His loved ones were worried when Kipkorir, also called Cherinyit, went missing on April 8. His decomposing remains were found at his Majengo apartment, confirming their worst suspicions.

Oriop Kipsil, a friend of Kipkorir's, claims that the late man had asked for assistance before his passing, expressing his grief. Oriop arrived at Kipkorir's house to find him dead, notwithstanding his best attempts to save him.

The family has announced that Kipkorir's funeral will take place in his house in Chepkurbet Village, Kapsoit Ward, on April 23, 2024. Additionally, the Chepkurbet residence will host a fundraiser on April 21, 2024, to cover the funeral costs.

A WhatsApp group has helped launch an online community-based crowdfunding initiative. Anyone wishing to help may do so by sending money to Nicholas Sieleg's phone at 0115420411.

It came to light that Kipkorir had lost KSh 120,000 in the gambling game Aviator on Betika before his sudden and tragic death.

The fact that Kipkorir's hopes of increasing his riches were thwarted was disclosed by his nephew, Aron Kosgey.
