Former Statehouse spokesperson Kanze Dena has rubbished rumors that she is suffering from throat cancer. It all started on X before spreading to other social media networks.
Kanze cleared the air, saying that she was in good health and adding that the news was fake. He, however, maintained that she was the only source of information regarding her health.
“If it happened that I was sick, everybody would know. I will let my friend in the media know. And if it were true, then everyone, including my top colleagues at Royal Media, would have known from the first day,” she said.
Fans have been sending quick recovery messages after learning the news online. Social media has seen the rise of fake news, with people targeting famous and popular celebrities online.
This week,various blogs and Tiktok posts indicated that she was left with less than six months to die. The rumors alleged further, saying that doctors are doing everything to save her life.
