Princess Damarie, a 23-year-old from Mautuma, Lugari, Kakamega County, has built her mother a lovely home—something that many people her age can only dream of.
Damarie claims that the home, which she paid KSh 670,000 for, is more than simply a building; it is a representation of love, sacrifice, and willpower.
Damarie, who has been working nonstop abroad for more than a year, said that this was her method of answering her mother’s sincere plea.
“I was aware that this was the only present I could offer her. “Like other women, she always prayed to sleep in a better house someday,” she added.
She gives straightforward but insightful counsel to others who share her objectives: “Never give up. Continue to strive until you achieve your goals. No one else will make our parents happy; we are the ones who must do it.”
