Laughed For My Arthritis Now I’m the One Laughing After Herbal Remedy

My boss told me, “You can’t travel with your condition.” That night, I cried and searched online for natural remedies. I wanted something different from the pills and therapy.

I found a blog about Dr Bokko, a traditional herbalist from Migori County. It told how someone got better from joint pain using his herbal medicine. At first, I didn’t believe it. Could herbs really work when doctors’ medicines didn’t?

But I was desperate and decided to call him. Dr Bokko took the time to listen to my pain, my medical history, and my feelings.

He explained that arthritis isn’t just a physical problem; it can also be connected to spiritual issues, like energy blockages or unresolved feelings in our bodies. His approach mixed natural herbs with traditional healing methods passed down through generations.

He created a special herbal pack for me using roots, tree bark, and leaves from Western Kenya. I had to boil the herbs every evening, soak my legs in the mixture, and drink a little every morning. He told me it wouldn’t work right away but to be patient and consistent.

In the first week, I noticed less swelling in my knees. By the second week, my limp got better. After a month, I could climb stairs without stopping. For the first time in years, I walked in the park without needing to hold onto anything.

What surprised people the most was how I walked—upright, strong, and confident. One co-worker who used to tease me even asked, “Did you start working out?” I smiled and said, “Something like that.”
