Why Bryana “Bana” Bongolan Filed Sean Diddy $10M Lawsuit

Fashion designer Bryana “Bana” Bongolan has filed a lawsuit asking for $10 million against Sean “Diddy” Combs. She says he sexually attacked her, kept her against her will, and caused her emotional distress during an incident in 2016.

The complaint was submitted on November 27, 2024, in a court in Los Angeles.

Bongolan claims that Combs held her over the edge of a balcony on the 17th floor of his then-girlfriend Casandra “Cassie” Ventura’s apartment while he was drunk.

At that time, Bongolan weighed around 100 pounds. She accuses Combs of touching her inappropriately, picking her up by her armpits, yelling at her, and then throwing her onto some patio furniture.

She says there was a pattern of intimidation in their working relationship, which started in 2014. Bongolan also claims she saw Combs being abusive towards Ventura, including a time when he threw knives.

Combs’ legal team has denied these allegations and believes they can successfully defend against what they consider to be false claims.

Currently, Combs is in detention in Brooklyn facing serious charges related to sex trafficking and racketeering, along with more than 30 other civil lawsuits against him.

Bongolan hopes to hold him accountable for the “deep and lasting harm” she says the incident caused her.
