Liverpool Nears Completion of Frimpong Transfer

Liverpool Football Club is close to finishing a deal to bring Jeremie Frimpong from Bayer Leverkusen. The transfer will involve paying Frimpong’s release clause, which is estimated to be between €35 million and €40 million.

If everything goes well, the 24-year-old player will sign a five-year contract with Liverpool that lasts until 2030.

This move is part of Liverpool’s plan to strengthen their team, especially with talks continuing about the future of Trent Alexander-Arnold. There is speculation that he might move to Real Madrid, but it is not confirmed.

Many reports say that talks are progressing quickly between Liverpool, Bayer Leverkusen, and Frimpong, as everyone wants to complete the transfer soon.

Liverpool has been in discussions about Jeremie Frimpong since last week.

They talked about how to handle the €35 million release clause. Frimpong is also having conversations about his contract, and he is eager to join Liverpool and wear their red shirt next season.

While talks between Liverpool and Frimpong have been taking place, a complete agreement has not been reached yet, and Liverpool has not officially contacted Bayer Leverkusen. Arne Slot, the coach, is a big supporter of Frimpong.
