Influencer Aurelien Fontenoy breaks world record cycling up Eiffel Tower

According to the operator of the Eiffel Tower, Aurelien Fontenoy, a cyclist and social media sensation, became the fastest athlete in history to climb to the second floor of the Eiffel Tower in France on an all-terrain bike. This accomplishment was announced on Friday.

According to a statement released by the Societe d’Exploitation de la Tour Eiffel, Fontenoy completed the ascent of the monument’s 686 stairs in a span of 12 minutes and 30 seconds, thereby reaching the second-floor platform, which is the uppermost platform that can be reached by stairs.

Almost seven minutes was the difference between him and the previous record. Fontenoy’s feet were not permitted to make contact with the ground in order for him to be able to claim the title.

Fontenoy remarked after the accomplishment, “I did not anticipate that it would take this short of a time.” According to him, the Eiffel Tower “is really a symbol, and it is really the monument that I wanted to climb,” added the individual.

In 2021, Fontenoy climbed the Trinity Tower, which is located in Paris and is 140 meters tall. This year, he climbed the TV Tower in Tallinn, which is located in Estonia. Both of these accomplishments were part of his project called “The Climb”.
