Strange Moment Funeral as Coffin Refuses to Enter Grave

We came together last week to bury my cousin Peter in our family home area. He passed away after a brief illness, and the sudden loss hit us hard. The funeral was meant to give everyone some peace, a chance to say goodbye properly, and let him rest.

Family members arrived from nearby towns and farther places. The yard filled up quickly with people talking quietly, sharing old stories about Peter, and hugging his parents. Everything had been planned out. The grave was dug early that morning, ready for the coffin.

When the moment arrived, a group of men took the ropes to lower the coffin. But right away, something odd happened. The coffin tilted sideways and wouldn’t go down straight into the grave. They stopped, looked at each other, then pulled it back up a bit to try again.

They thought the ropes might have caught or twisted. So they fixed their hold and started once more. Same thing. The coffin shifted awkwardly, almost like it was resisting and refused to settle.
