The United States of America has charged the daughter of former Minister Soita Shitanda with vehicular murder.
The police in the state of Washington in the United States of America have charged the 23-year-old daughter of former Cabinet Minister Soita Shitanda with vehicular murder.
According to the materials filed before the court, Candy Soita’s preliminary breath test revealed a value of 0.97 around four hours after the crash.
The driver involved in the Sunday collision in Pierce County, which claimed the lives of two troops, faces a charge of vehicular murder.
Throughout the investigation, Soita has faced two charges of vehicular murder and one count of vehicular assault.
According to the records filed in court, Soita was travelling the wrong way on State Route 512 at two in the morning on June 2 when she was involved in a head-on collision with another car at E Canyon Road.
Records from the police department indicate that the lady, who was 23 years old, was under the influence of alcohol.
Spc. Charles T. Fairbairn, who was 29 years old, and Spc. Wendell T. Cerio, who was 22 years old, are the names of the two troops who died in the accident.
After being transported to a hospital for treatment of injuries, a third soldier who was in the vehicle has now been discharged.
According to the paperwork, Soita was reportedly traveling with her daughter, who was one year old when the accident occurred.
According to the records, the troopers reported smelling intoxicants from Soita’s breath and observing her bloodshot and watery eyes. The baby is completely uninjured.
