President Uhuru Kenyatta hits on Governors that there is no money for anymore. He claimed that the government has done enough on counties and they should look for ways for their recurrent expenditures.

Speaking at Kirwara Boys High School in Gatanga during the burial of Peter Kenneth’s mother Rahab Wambui, the President gave the leaders an option of reducing their salaries if they wanted to allocate more to the counties.

"We have no money to offer to the counties, we can’t print money and we have offered them what we have. The governors should reduce their salaries their people so that we reduce the wage bill." The President said.

“They should first account for what they are given and curb corruption instead of demanding for what we don’t have,” the president added.

President Kenyatta accompanied and consoled Former Gatanga MP Peter Kenneth at the burial ceremony.
