Agriculture Cabinet Secretary Peter Munya now says most desert locusts are pregnant and looking for laying ground and hence not eating much.

The CS said the government has pumped Sh 300 million to the fight against desert locusts.  Locusts want to lay eggs and they cannot fly longer.
” The government will contain them as its easier now. The aerial spray will focus more on the ground where they lay eggs, ” CS Peter Munya said.
