US undergoes a deadly winter storm tossed out approximately a foot of wet, heavy snow in some D.C. areas.

The authorities were on the roads attempting to clean up the risky jumble.

And the calamity is yet to come. Stormwatch7 Chief Meteorologist Bill Kelly says that as temperatures decline on Monday night, the snow and muck will refreeze on roads and sidewalks.

Authorities are instructing area residents to stay off the roads except for crucial trips.

After the snow, ice, high winds, and fallen trees, crews helped to rejuvenate electricity to about 500,000 people across eight states.

Virginia is now confronting the most outages with more than 350,000 citizens in the dark.

The slush and wilting snow on the ground are anticipated to freeze overnight, establishing dangerous circumstances on the road.
