Egypt team at Afcon

Egypt is the most victorious nation in the history of the AFCON, having won the tournament on seven events in the past.

Although,  between 2006 and 2010, the Pharaoh’s lifted the trophy in three successive competitions.

In the last time out, they were kicked out at the last-16 of the tournament. It is expected that they will prove other nations wrong for being among the underdogs.

The hope is apparent contemplating their past in the competition. The existence of EPL top scorer,  Liverpool’s Mohamed Salah also ramps up the tension on Carlos Queiroz’s team.

Egypt has not had good outcomes heading into this competition, though, as they have won just once in their last four international trips.

The Super Eagles are ready to battle. They will strive to pass the last time out level at AFCON.
