Jimmy Kahindi one of the Aspirants for the Gubernatorial position Kilifi had sponsored for over 2000 ODM Mobilizers, Delegates and Aspirants on Friday 11th February 2022 for the goal of re-activating the party and sending a message to the People of Kilifi that Kilifi is still ODM party stronghold.
Jimmy Kahindi did this out of his love for the party spending over 4M in a single day event to rejuvenate the Party.
He went ahead to allow the Party Chairman to invite all the Aspirants including his opponents like Mung'aro and Saburi who are all contesting for the same party ticket.
According to sources privy to the information, they were given a free platform without paying a single cent because ODM is one family.
However, after being given a free platform and opportunity to rejuvenate the party, Mung'aro went ahead to reduce a high profile party meeting to goons shouting match and to cause disruption.
However, after the Mung'aro goons fracas, Jimmy opted to embrace even his opponents and accommodate them.
Although it is clear that the event has never occurred in Kilifi, it's the first of its kind in the county.
However, how Mung'aro behaved himself according to ODM party officials is questionable.
According to reports, the Kilifi speaker sacrificed over 4M in for the party event to rebuild the party while Mung'aro used the same event to cause chaos from his hired goons.
Speaker Jimmy Kahindi says he is making efforts to revive the ODM Party after the departure of Governor Amason Kingi.
From sources within the former Devolution CAS, Mung'aro is making efforts to sabotage the party from within by using goons and proxies, then move back to Jubilee.
ODM Party is among the largest parties in Africa that believe in the principles of democracy, peaceful coexistence and order.
The same principles drew Jimmy to sponsor the ODM Party event in Kilifi calling all his brothers contesting for the same party ticket to share a podium to articulate party issues.
The speaker wanted the party to stamp the grip of its stronghold Kilifi.
However, from observers, they rated that the son of Dabaso went ahead to taint the Party image and ruin the event with his goons.
