After ditching Switch Tv that was on the verge of shutdown, Wanjiru Maina moved to K24 Tv with vigour of getting better.
The move came after the MediaMax management swept and fired all presenters to begin a newlife with fresh brains in the entertainment market.
The new team included Abuller Ahmed who had previously worked at Switch TV. Allan Owino poached from TV47 with Wanjiru Maina, and Daniel Kituu joined from Switch TV.
Immediately after getting to the newsrooms, Wanjiru Maina and Allan Owino took over #TheDailyBrief in the morning.
" Some people got information that the station was on the verge of getting down. For me, I wanted a new challenge. K24 TV is a bigger house compared to where i was.
" People need to upgrade. Find new challenges and learn from different platforms, " Wanjiru Maina said.
