Ndindi Nyoro, a Kiharu MP, has slammed the appointment of Mombasa governor Ali Hassan Joho as the Lands CS in the Azimio cabinet.

Raila Odinga, the head of the ODM, proposed Joho for the appointment if the alliance wins the August 9 polls, promising to resolve the matter once and for all.

"I also nominate Hon Ali Hassan Joho as Caninet Secretary for Land to address the past land inequities in the Coast area and throughout the Republic of Kenya once and for all," Raila stated.

Nyoro, on the other side, claims Joho is merely a socialite who is unfit to oversee land concerns.

According to the congressman, only a Kenya Kwanza regime will be able to handle situations that have plagued the country for years.

"Kenya requires a substantial individual to investigate land reform and historical land atrocities. Half of Kenya's valuable land mass cannot be plundered in the name of a willing seller.

" Only Kenya Kwanza, not a socialite like Joho, can manage with something like this. We are Africans, and Africa is our business," Nyoro stated.

Nyoro, a personal friend of DP William Ruto, took a shot at the Jubilee party in a subsequent tweet, accusing President Kenyatta of demonstrating disrespect for his countrymen by failing to provide candidates for high ranking positions in the Azimio administration.

“Jubilee Party in Azimio could not produce a presidential candidate, nor a deputy president, nor Chief minister. This is Uhuru’s legacy, to steal, kill and destroy! Uhuru amefanyania Mt Kenya Madharau sana. He hates Kikuyus. We are African & Africa is our business!” Nyoro said.
