Prime CS Musalia Mudavadi will run for president in 2032.

A Shinyalu member of parliament, Hon. Fred Ikana, has said that Prime CS Musalia Mudavadi will run for president in 2032.

Ikana made these remarks on Monday, December 26th, at the Maragoli Cultural Celebrations in Vihiga County's Mbale Municipal Grounds.

He said that because Musalia is the most senior minister in the government, he is in a better position to succeed President William Ruto as head of state.

However, Ikana requested that the Chief Cabinet Secretary place a high priority on bringing the Mulembe Nation together in order to be ready for the major seat.

"I would want to express my gratitude to His Excellency Musalia Mudavadi for taking us into the government. We are telling His Excellency William Ruto's administration that you are the eye of our community in the present government, which is headed by His Excellency Mudavadi."

He added, "You now have to ensure that the Mulembe community is unified and that everyone in it has access to the government employment positions and business prospects via you."

He said that as the Prime CS, Musalia was now in the right position to bring all of the Luhyas together and make friends with other communities as he rallies their support behind President William Ruto's government for the benefit of the community.

On Monday in Vihiga, Shinyalu Member of Parliament Fred Ikana (centre), together with other leaders, said,"In the event that this goal is accomplished, Mudavadi will be in a stronger position to run for president after the conclusion of Ruto's second term in 2032."

Ikana was one of the two candidates for the seat of Member of Parliament who were put up by the Amani National Congress (ANC) party in Kakamega County as part of the Kenya Kwanza alliance.

The second one is the Hon. Malulu Injendi, who is his counterpart from Malava.
