Samidoh, a well-known Mugithi musician, has been told by Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua to keep control of his marital affairs or face punishment.
Mr. Gachagua said that Samidoh, whose actual name is Samuel Muchoki, is disappointing his followers by allowing his personal matters to be made public. He called Samidoh an embarrassment for doing so.
Gachagua was referring to a recent incident in which Samidoh was present, in which Nominated Senator Karen Nyamu was caught on camera arguing with Samidoh's wife at a Dubai club.
At the time of the funeral of Trade CS Moses Kuria's sister, he was speaking in Gatundu.
Samidoh and Karen are parents to a kid, and the gossip industry has thrived because of their love affair.
When Nyamu walked to a table where Samidoh and his wife were seated, an incident occurred when Nyamu forcibly got on Samidoh's lap.
The next day, Nyamu said on social media that she did not regret the experience but vowed never to be in a similar circumstance again.
"Guys, I don't regret anything I did last night; I don't wish I had done it differently."
"However, I guarantee that your lady won't ever again find herself in a similar circumstance," she stated on her Instagram page.
In order to assist the singer in resolving his problems, Mr. Gachagua promised to sit down with him and talk with him after the conclusion of the Samidoh portion of his address, but he also issued a warning if it didn't work out.
He said that Samidoh wouldn't be able to go overseas or would only be able to travel alone so that he wouldn't make the country look bad.
