The death of the father of rapper Stephen Otieno Adera, better known by his stage name Stevo Simple Boy, has been announced.

In a statement published to the general audience, Stevo's management, MIB, shared the news that his father, Anthony Adera, had passed away.

In part of a statement that was released on Sunday, MIB wrote, "We woke up with tragic news this morning announcing the death of Anthony Adera, father of Stephen Otieno Adera, widely known as Stevo Simple Boy."

During this tough time, Stevo's bosses asked his fans and friends to keep him in their thoughts and prayers and stay by his side.

The management team said, "As MIB, we feel the loss, and we ask everyone of his fans and friends to stand with him through this difficult moment."

MIB did not provide any more information on the passing of Stevo's father.

Before moving to Nairobi as a child to live with his sister, the rapper spent his childhood in Homa Bay County, where he was born and raised by his parents.

He attended preschool through seventh grade in the county of Homa Bay, and he took the Kenya Certificate of Primary Education (KCPE) test in Kibera, which is located in the city of Nairobi.

The relocation out of the ghetto in the early years of 2022 was the turning point in Stevo Simple Boy's life, since he had spent his whole childhood living in terrible poverty.

Before his career in music took off, he supported himself by doing several jobs, including as a construction laborer, a hotel waiter, and a security guard.

" Loosing a father has not been an easy task. The father was hardworking and raised us in though not in a good way but strive his best for his children, " he said.
