At State House Nairobi on Wednesday morning, President William Ruto met with a group of roughly 30 Jubilee Members of Parliament (MPs).

The team agreed to cooperate with the administration after meeting with President Ruto for the second time.

Aden Keynan, an Eldas MP, John Waluke, Mark Mwenje, Sabina Chege, a Nominee, Stanley Muthama, a Lamu West representative, and Yusuf Hassan were among the members present.

Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua was furthermore present.

This occurs shortly after the Head of State met with several Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) MPs on the same grounds, which provoked conflict within the party.

The visit by the lawmakers to State House, according to ODM's Director of Communications Phillip Etale, did not come as a surprise since some of them had been kept under observation before the visit.

The statement said in part, "The party has been following carefully the behind-the-scenes involved in extracting some of them and today was merely the finale."

However, the party encouraged Kenyans to disregard the leaders, charging them of being self-centered and driven by their bellies at the cost of millions of destitute Kenyans.

Phelix Odiwour, better known by his stage as Jalang'o and a member of the group that received a reprimand, made it clear that the discussion was development-focused rather than political.

On Thursday, the Azimio la Umoja coalition's National Assembly members were required to attend a meeting at which they were threatened with sanctions for being disobedient.
