Jubilee party restructure exiting Azimio
David Murathe and Jeremiah Kioni.

On February 10, the Chairman of the Jubilee Party, Nelson Dzuya, made the announcement that former Ndaragwa Member of Parliament Jeremiah Kioni will no longer serve as the party's Secretary General.

In addition, David Murathe was removed from his position as vice chairman. Dzuya claims that the reasons for Kioni's suspension include both carelessness and wrongdoing.

Dzuya made the announcement when he was speaking at the meeting of the Jubilee Party Parliamentary Group in Nakuru.

He said that the Member of Parliament (MP) for the East African Legislative Assembly (EALA), Kanini Kega, will take over as the interim Secretary General.

The National Treasurer, Kagwe Gichohi, and the National Vice Chairperson, David Murathe, are two more people who have been kicked out of the party.

A few days after talking with President William Ruto at the State House, several members of parliament from the Jubilee Party were suspended.

The members of parliament gave their word of allegiance to the administration and said that they would collaborate with President Ruto to further the progress of the country.

Also, the Jubilee National Executive Council (NEC) released a statement saying that they had started the process to leave the Azimio alliance.

The National Executive Committee is talking with the ruling coalition about the possibility of negotiating an agreement to work together.

A statement from the Jubilee Party said, "The committee demands that the Jubilee Party be recognized as a Parliamentary Party with all the rights and benefits that come with it, given that the Jubilee Party is the third largest party in Parliament."

In addition, the members of parliament made it clear that they did not support and will not support Azimio's demonstrations against the administration.
