Raila Odinga takes Azimio anti-Ruto rallies to Busia before heading to Kisii

On Sunday, Azimio Chief Raila Odinga will hold one of his anti-government protests in the county of Busia.

The Azimio La Umoja Coalition held the demonstration in Machakos on Friday.

This was the fourth of many events that the alliance had planned to put pressure on President William Ruto’s government over what they see as bad policies.

At the demonstrations labeled “community consultation sessions” at Mlolongo in the Mavoko subcounty, Raila led, and over 100 leaders were elected from a variety of parties linked with the group.

Raila was in Kisumu County on Saturday after attending the funeral of late Education CS George Magoha in Siaya.

This time, Uhuru Kenyatta, a former president, attended and reaffirmed his allegiance to Raila.

Even though other leaders have asked the ODM leader to stop organizing anti-government protests because he is dividing the country, he has kept doing it.

“These barazas must continue in order to educate the public about the lost democratic rights.”

“These people want to rule over you as if they had won elections, even though they stole them,” Raila said at an Azimio coalition retreat on Thursday.

Raila plans to host an additional show of strength on Monday in Kisii town after the one in Busia.
