Wiper Party Leader Kalonzo Musyoka now asserts that slain National Hospital Insurance Fund (NHIF) staffer Lilian Waithera may have been a whistleblower.

Friday, while addressing the Azimio rally in Kisii County, Kalonzo said that the 46-year-old lady was the subject of targeted murder.

According to intelligence, this mother might be a whistleblower similar to the 2022 August presidential election whistleblower.

The media should not hurry to claim that there was no assassination plot.

"How are they aware?" The former vice president continued, "Maybe this behavior will result in the reintroduction of political assassinations in Kenya."

The Kenyatta University Mortuary Examination found that Waithera died from a gunshot wound.

"The female NHIF employee who fell and died on Kaunda Street on the evening of Monday, February 13, had been gunned down from a high vantage point."

"The autopsy found that the bullet was stuck in her lungs," stated Chief Adamson Bungei of the Nairobi County Police.

Waithera had voiced concerns about difficulty breathing and chest discomfort just before collapsing and passing away.

The scapula was penetrated by a bullet fired from an upward position, the Nairobi police chief revealed.

The shot may have originated from a sniper in one of the buildings with a silencer gun.
