The rallies organised by the Azimio la Umoja One Kenya alliance took place all around the nation for the third time on March 30, 2023.

Raila Odinga has said that there will be protests every Monday and Thursday against the way President William Ruto is running the country and the high cost of living.

There doesn't seem to be any talk during these protests, so it seems like they have been going on for a long time.

While the protests go on in Siaya County, it has been reported that protesters affiliated with Azimio la Umoja have set fire to the offices of the UDA there.

According to the accounts, the unruly demonstrators travelled to Siaya County to storm the offices of the UDA, which they then set on fire.

The noisy demonstrators set fire to the papers that were in the offices along with other valuable goods. Furthermore, a fire later wholly destroyed the offices.

Since the full scope of the damage has not yet been determined, there have been no reports of any fatalities as of yet.

Siaya UDA offices burnt down

Even though national and international leaders have asked the President of State to stop his rallies repeatedly, the Azimio La Umoja One Kenya Party has promised to keep up their large protests.

There are reports that two people have died because of the protests, which have also caused property damage.

Despite accusations that they used force against protesters, police have always been there to defend Kenyans' property.

Azimio has made some modifications, stating that they will stop providing demo notifications as of Monday next week since the side is committed to continuing their protests on Monday and Thursday.

Sen. Edwin Sifuna of Nairobi says that police have been using the notifications they have sent to plan violence against them.

To prevent plans for aggression towards them, Azimio will not be announcing the locations of any protests they want to organise in the city.
