In Mashuuru, Kajiado Central, law enforcement officers are looking for an unidentified male suspect who is suspected of killing a female police officer.
Charles Chepkonga, the Mashuuru Sub County police commander, said that the police officer, who was absolutely recognised, is assigned to the Emali SGR station.
A sharp weapon was used to stab her in the neck and face at around 8 o’clock on Wednesday night.
Members of the Umasaini, Texas community who were ineffective in pursuing the man responsible after he committed the horrible act instead reported the incident.
Reports indicate that there was a ruckus at the officer’s home before a man was seen fleeing while brandishing a bloodied knife.
Neighbours claim they heard arguing about another woman but were unable to get the real picture.
At her entrance was the corpse of the policeman, lying in a pool of blood.
Interim inquiries, according to Mashuuru Sub County Police Chief Charles Chepkonga, show that the individual in question is well-known in the neighbourhood.
“The loss of life is regrettable. There is absolutely no excuse for killing anyone. We decided to bring up the issue and have started an inquiry to determine the murderer’s motivation,” Chepkonga stated. “We have vital knowledge that is assisting us in our search for the culprit.”
At 20:14, the crime was submitted to Mashuuru police station, according to OB 12/2/08/2023. Since then, the body has been sent to Kilome Nursing Home for an autopsy.
