Collins Kiptoo, a resident of Nandi Hills, attacked the Betika headquarters in Westlands over allegations that he lost Ksh 1.2 million of the Ksh 1.5 million that he had earned via betting.

On March 13th, 2024, Collins Kiptoo gambled on Betika Aviator and ended up winning over Ksh 1.5 million.

The funds were sent to his account at 1:00 a.m. on March 14th. However, when he attempted to make another wager at ten in the morning, he was instructed to wait for twenty-four hours.

He withdrew Ksh 300,000 from his account, which was the maximum permitted withdrawal from Betika in any given situation.

When he checked his account at 7:29 p.m. on March 14th, he realized that the amount was still in his account. However, after twenty-four hours, he checked his account again at around 1:30 in the morning on March 15th and saw that it was empty.

When Collins called Betika's customer service department, they informed him that he had lost the money after making auto bets.

Betika's employees maintained that he had lost over Ksh 1.2 million after placing auto bets.

Collins insists that he did not place any bets after the Ksh 1.5 million was placed into his account and wants to know who stole his money.
