14 years-old primary school girl poisoned her father to continue with an intimate relationship with her 19 years old secondary school boyfriend.
Kisii Police officers have detained a 14-year-old grade four girl who attempted to poison her father for challenging her relationship with a form four boy.
According to police reports, the girl, a pupil at Kegati Primary School in Nyaribari Chache, Kisii County tried to murder her father by poisoning his porridge.
Previously, the father had faced the girl over her relationship in a bid to stop the relationship with a 19-year-old boy.
However, his daughter with anger mixed his routine porridge with a reactive substance. The boy is a student at a nearby secondary school.
The father further explained that he noted a strange smell in the porridge before eating it.
Upon a tough stance and interrogation, the girl proved to have poisoned the porridge.
