A middle-aged man Mr Denis Nyaega burnt to death for allegedly stealing meat from a butchery in Kisii County.
Speaking to the media, Mr Andrew Bogeta, the suspect’s brother said that a mob stabbed Mr Denis Nyaega on Monday morning, alleging that he had stolen meat.
The move came after some meat was found in his house under a mattress.
Mr Andrew Bogeta said that his brother was a good person, loved by his family and community.
The deceased body was taken to Kisii Teaching and Referral Hospital mortuary.
Kisii County Police Commander Mr Chabel Munene said probe underway on the incident.
