Kiritiri Health Centre Nurse, 28, kills herself in hospital over husband drama – Embu

Crime scene in Mt Kenya

A 28-year-old female nurse was discovered dead in the lavatory of a building in Embu County that houses a therapeutic centre. The police are looking into the cause of her death.

Before taking too many medications, the woman reportedly locked herself in the bathroom. Subsequently, her corpse was found on the floor.

The woman, who works at a separate Embu health facility called the Kiritiri Health Centre, was to visit the structure seeking therapy for conflicts in her marriage.

The dead guy was from the Rift Valley, but he was also married to a doctor from Embu County.

Her friends encouraged others in problematic marriages or relationships to seek therapy and make choices that are best for their family when they responded to her passing on social media.

Furthermore, they appealed to the appropriate authorities to guarantee that couples get the required information and counselling in order to prevent these premature deaths.

Police took her body to the Embu Level 5 Hospital mortuary, where friends and family were waiting for the results of the postmortem.

Suicide cases have increased, and depression, money problems, and marital problems are the main causes of these cases.

On February 8, another incidence was reported in which a teacher from Embu County committed suicide because he felt spurned by his previous partner.

The guy insisted on being buried on Valentine’s Day and made arrangements for his family’s funeral.

Additionally, he requested that the eulogy be highlighted by his girlfriend on the burial day.

A police officer from Kerugoya, Kirinyaga County, committed suicide and left a message for his sweetheart in another event that was documented in September 2023.
