A horrific incident took place in Suba South, Homa Bay County, where her husband abused a 23-year-old woman, who is currently receiving treatment at Magunga Level 4 Hospital. The couple's 2-year-old kid was also a target of the vicious assault.

According to reports, the woman's husband, who is now avoiding law enforcement, severely injured both the woman he married and their little boy after attacking them with a sharp weapon. 


The incident happened at the Magunga trade centre, and the lady took the brunt of it, traumatizingly losing three of her fingers.


The chief medical officer of Magunga Hospital, Dr. Richard Ojuok, has verified that both patients are presently in good health after the horrific experience. At the hospital, they are now receiving medical attention.


Sebastian Okiring, Deputy County Commissioner for Suba Sub County, has confirmed the occurrence and confirmed that security personnel have launched a search for the offender, who is still at large. 


Authorities are actively investigating leads to ensure the apprehending of the offender and the justice of the victims of this terrible act of violence.
